WHO ARE WE?
As a Christian organisation promoting compassion for others through missions, educational internships, and cultural exchanges between people of all nations, cultures and heritage, we operate with the COMPASSION mentality, seeking to change the earth by enabling God's children to travel abroad, meet people, help people, share life experiences, interact with one another and enable each other to become better acquainted, thus diminishing and breaking down the strength of the walls of artificial differences that past historical & cultural experiences has caused on earth. Part of the proceeds from your participation is used to fund RELIEF PROJECTS in the third world and also provide MICRO FINANCE support for women and children in poor communities.

Internship Type Compassionate mission is designed for participants to have a chance to become a team member of a team of volunteers and helpers assisting local Kenyans who live in poverty, destitution, homelessness and extreme lack. This mission will expose participants to the plight of those suffering from lack, starvation, sickness and brokenness. Participants will get a chance to observe as well as become part of the solution. This is a very rewarding internship experience that enabmes participants to make small but tangible contributions towards helping the poor and marginalised in our world.

Internship Purpose & Outcome:
1] To see to it that you grow taller in servant-hood, meet and see Jesus moving in the lives of the suffering.
2] Care more for the broken and grow deeper in your walk with Christ.
3] Return back home a newly transformed soul, well awakened spiritually, emotionally, physically & mentally.
4] Indeed, you will never be the same again!

SPECIAL EXPERIENCES - Heart of Service Experience:
1] Thanksgiving Meal - Based on Matthew 14:17-20.
* You will have the opportunity to go fishing with men/women at dawn & then on to the local market to buy more fishes that you will bring back and help to prepare and cook for the local community.

2] Baking/Breaking Bread Experience - Based on Luke 22:19
* You will have the chance to go to a local bakery where you and other local people will prepare and bake bread that will be blessed, placed into baskets and shared out amongst the local women, over a meal.


3] Washing of the feet - Based on John 13:14.
* You will have the opportunity to experience your feet washed by the our precious women on arrival. In return on your last special departure evening of songs and dance,you will be given the special oppurtunity to wash the feet of the women who washed yours on arrival into Kenya.


CORE INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
. Participate in RESCUING homeless women & their children.
. Participate in FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH to touch women in need.
. Participate in ACTIVE PRAYER MINISTRY for women in need & visiting the disabled women.
. Participation in SOCIAL VISITS to women in poor living condition & circumstances.
. Work with homeless women, destitute women, women in restoration process & women being empowered.
. Assist women being helped through micro-economic support & spending time with them, sharing in their daily walk, arranging medical help, dental help, counseling help, prayer support, & planning support.
. Walk in the shoes of a precious woman in need for just ONE day. [This will impact your life forever]
. Teach little skills, songs, dance, art, Bible, craft, sports or anything you are gifted in to local children & adults. . Witness the plight of those suffering and help to make a difference as part of a compassion mission team.
. And much, much more.

HIGH IMPACT & SERVANTHOOD OPPORTUNITIES
. You will/may also have the opportunity to experience some of the following:
. Help minister to the destitute women & children living in cardboard boxes/open shelters.
. Feed the homeless families & people.
. Care for orphans, widows & street children.
. Participate in healing revivals/Conefrence if ongoing at the time of your visit. . Participate in local church Worship and efforts during you rvisit.
. Help with clothing outreach effort to supply clothes to needy & poor people.
. Visit sick women in hospitals/clinics and at home.
. Experience working with a mobile medical unit treating women in rural areas if ongoing when you come to Kenya.
. Join the team to pray over poor neighborhoods, villages and cities for healing & restorative change to occur.
. Shop in the local market & haggle with sellers as a cultural experience.
. Visit local tourist attractions, museums, tourist spots & get a chance to feel the vibes of a different culture/tradition. . Help teach local children & women in any capacity God enables you using either music, arts, dance, computers, songs, crafts, etc.

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
1] Though the above list is long list of activities, you will have the opportunity to take part in as many areas as you desire. However, there is no guarantee of which area[s] you will be assigned to until you arrive at the mission field. You are NOT expected to complete them all but we are willing to help you experience as much as you are able to.
2] Please note that this IMPACT internship is NOT A HOLIDAY!
3] Our internships are not holidays, however you will have the opportunity to explore local food, music, museums, Safaris, rain forests, cuisine, historical places and have fun however the main purpose is for you to SERVE others during this visit.

Minimum Age Requirement
Age 18+ [Parental consent is required for teenagers under 18 years of age]

Vaccinations
Check with your doctor and get all the vaccination you need to have.
Flight, Visa & Health Insurance Arrangements
You must arrange and pay for your own flight, medical insurance & travel visa keeping to the agreed dates.
For Flight Budget: £450-550 [if originating from Europe]/For others check with your travel agents]

£1,250/US Dollars - $2,000 [2 weeks - 12-14 nights]
