    Dear Friend,
Welcome to JHM Global Pre-Podiatric Medicine Internship!
There a only few colleges of PODIATRY in the world today and admission is still competitive. It is reported that there is an average 3,000 applicats for approximately 90-100 positions available. This is the case not just in the USA but in the UK and in other few nations offering this career choice.

    What is Podiatry?
Podiatry is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. Podiatrists are defined as physicians by the U.S. federal government and in most U.S. states.

The term podiatry came into use first in the early 20th century United States,[2] where it now denotes a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), a specialist who is qualified by their education and training to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg.[citation needed] Within the field of podiatry, practitioners can focus on many different specialty areas, including surgery, sports medicine, biomechanics, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, or primary care So what are your chances?

HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER
What is that EXTRA PUNCH that you are willing to pack that will make you get admitted to study Podiatry?
What will make you stand out above the other thousands of students standing before the selection committee?
What do you know about Podiatry as a profession?

    ADVANCE KNOWLEDGE OF PODIATRY COUNTS?
Most Podiarty school applicants only have a general idea of what Podiatry is really about. Most have not worked in a Podiatric clinic/hospital environment before nor do they have a detailed & clear knowledge of what the Podiatric field entail. Most also DO NOT really have the direct experience of walking in the steps of a Podiatric medical doctor for an hour let alone for a week. It is impossible to demonstrate genuine passion for Podiatry at the admissions interviews if you have not had a chance to get really close to Podiatric patients at all or know much about a podiatric clinic/hospital environments.
