ABOUT THE GIVE A GIFT OF LIFE
Countless numbers of babies born prematurely are dying in the developing world due to lack of a well equipped, properly running and well trained staff to assist the children who are born prematurely. Most of the hospitals in the hard to reach villages and communities in distant and remote places DO NOT have the resources, manpower or funds to be able to set up such baby units though it is their heart's desire to save lives. Frankly, they are overwhelmed!

THE URGENT PLAN FOR BABY INCUBATORS
At JHM GLOBAL MEDICAL, our desire is for you our partners to join hands with us in helping these remotely located hospitals and clinics to set up effective NEONATAL UNITS, specialising in the care of premature babies. Together we can work with the local hospitals to train NEONATAL NURSES, furnish them with life saving INCUBATORS UNITS, electric generators, bar heaters, chairs, nappies, clothing, cot sheets, blankets, nasogastric tubes, syringes, digital scales and other essential materials.

HOW YOU CAN HELP?
Good quality NEONATAL INCUBATORS cost from around One thousand, five hundred pounds Sterling or $3,000 US Dollars upwards per unit. With your help and donation of any amount, we are able to pull resources to buy, ship overseas and install these equipments, plus train the local nurses to be able to maintain the wards/units to save helpless newborn babies.

FOOD, BEDDINGS, BLANKETS & CLOTHING
Many of the precious mothers arriving at these remote village hospitals and clinics have to clothes themselves nor for their new born babies due to poverty and lack. The clinics cannot often guaranty them a clean bed with a matress or even clean sheets to deliver their babies. Many of these mothers are malnourished, giving birth to low weight & premature babies. Both mothers and their children need food and nutrients to nurse them back to life and to ensure that they both survive. Postpartum death [death after delivery] is commonplace in the developing world.

We appealing for help from Neonatal nurses, nurse midwives, paediatricians and gynaecologists who would wish to give a portion of their time no matter how small [1,2,3 or 4 weeks] at a time to help us work and train local health care personnel and help out at these rural hospitals.
