Dear Friend,
Welcome to the JHM Global Medical!
To know more about the nations we serve, please click on the photo of the nation of interest and you will learn some
valuable things about the nation and its people. Beneath the glossy images of vibrant culture, tradition and write up lies
extreme poverty, need, suffering and a call for help from the poorest of the poorest in these nations. We encourage you to
see beyond the scenery, music, sunshine and colours. Listen with your eyes to the cry fo help!
Our Calling!
We are called to take physical healing and Spiritual healing through the stripes of the Lord Jesus Christ to the nations, to say to those in darkness [sickness] "You are Precious & Honoured in the Sight of God" [Isaiah 43v4] and to love on them by helping them through our actions.
The BIG Question
We are called to respond to the question raised through the prophet Jeremiah asking;
Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing
for the wound of my people?" [Jeremiah 8v22]
The Challenge
We aim to respond to that call and challenge by partnering with other missionaries and organisations to
collectively bring mobile medical outreach to developing nations, accept the challenge of running
hospitals in hard to reach places if/when called upon, help the failing hospitals in rural villages
who are struggling to remain afloat, arrange medical internships for healthcare students who have a
heart to enrich the broken and be enriched themselves and do this in such a way that brings glory to
the name of Jesus Christ.
Our Internships:
The healthcare internships that we arrange for both students and healthcare professionals in our
partner hospitals in developing nations are an integral part of our effort to see the following happen:
1] Draw attention to the plight of poor people in developing nations who suffer daily and are only able
to receive minimal healthcare assistance [if any at all] attention due to lack of funding and resources.
2] Influence medical students and practicing physicians to consider being a part of radically changing the
lives of many suffering people in this world by giving their FREE services periodically overseas to make a
difference.
3] Generate resources for our medical mission work with which we can support the provision of quality
medical care in hard to reach places in the developing world.
4] See the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ flourish and received by tribes and peoples of the
nations we touch.

Mobile Medical Outreach
Mobile medical outreach still remains one of the most effective ways of bring healthcare services to the most rural
areas and villages in the developing world. Back packing medical staffers and volunteers are wanted who are able and willing
to help us treat the sick in the hills and mountains as well as in outback areas where neither hospitals not clinics exist.
Mobile medical missionaries from churches and other NGO's ar most welcomed to partner with us.

Kipsigon Hospital Project
We received an invitation December 2010 from Kenya asking JHM GLOBAL to take over the
running of Kipsigon Hospital located in Mount Elgon, in Kenya. This hospital is currently closed,
very run down and in a state of total disrepair. It was a Christian Faith organisation run hospital
up to its closure. The hospital was closed down due to election and tribal clashes that ravaged the
Kenyan nation in 2007-2008 and the Norwegian funders withdrew their support for the hospital.
As a result most of the people in the area now have to walk for about 30km or more to get medical help.
As you can imagine most of them are too sick or too poor to afford public transport to go such distance.
Invariably many die.
Most of the victims as always are women and children.
The hospital previously had the following facilities:
22 beds, Antenatal, Basic Emergency Obstetric Care, Curative In-patient Services, Curative Outpatient Services,
Family Planning, Growth Monitoring and Promotion, HIV Counselling and Testing, Home Based Care, Immunization,
Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses, Prevention of Mother to Child transmission of HIV, Tuberculosis Diagnosis,
Tuberculosis Labs and Treatments.
Our vision is to continue most of the above services but add new treatment programs that benefit children [Paediatrics] as well as extend the facilities to include Premature Baby and an Asthsma Clinic.
OUR APPEAL
It will cost a lot to renovate this hospital, renew its grounds, recruit new staff, provide training, equip the hospital,
provide medications, keep it operational and make it suitable to deliver a totally FREE healthcare services to
this struggling community. Won't you join us?
